How to Best Clean Your Commercial Solar Panels

You’ve made the commitment to take your commercial property solar! You recognize the good investment that you’ve made and are committed to protecting it and seeing your ROI come sooner than later.

So, what’s next? We WELCOME the opportunity to show you how to ensure that your solar system is performing it’s best, and delivering what it promised.

We know that panels exposed to the elements, no matter where you are located, require professional cleaning at least every 6 months. Rainwater alone is simply ineffective in removing buildup that leads to capacity reduction.

But how? With many different methods being used out there, how do I know which is best?

Every solar farm/system is different and a number of factors go into what ultimately become the prescribed solution but there are a few absolutes that should not be ignored

  • The right equipment.
    • Nothing gets the job done better and more efficiently than a long brush with dual rotating heads. We prefer the iKarcher Solar equipment in general and their iKarcher Solar Brush (see more) is hands down the best
  • The right water.
    • The right brush is critical, but if you are running pressurized HARD WATER through them, you may be doing more harm than good.
    • We recommend and use only clean softened water.
  • The right professionals.
    • Find professionals that have experience, and a solid reputation. Capable, trained technicians maximize efficiency while always working smart and SAFE.
